Lilia was born five miles southwest of Fredonia, ND. She grew up andreceived her elementary education in Haag School District south ofFredonia. Lilia was united in marriage to Gottfried Riebhagen onDecember 3, 1944 at Fredonia, ND. The couple farmed on the Riebhagenfarmstead until they retired and moved to their new home in Wishek, NDin 1979. After their retirement Lilia spent some time working at theWishek home for the Aged. She enjoyed gardening and quilting. Shewas anactive member of the United Church of Christ in Wishek, ND. Shewasa member of the past Lydia Society and a longime Sunday Schoolteacher.
