Albert worked for the National Tea Grocery until 1941 when he moved toSeattle, Washington to work in the shipyards until 1943. He enteredthe Army in 1943 and was discharged in 1946. He returned to Jamestownwhere he was manager of the TSC Stores, moved to Dickinson andreturned to Jamestown before he retired. He also was a bus driver forJamestown senior citizens and was active in the United MethodistChurch. He died of leukemia.
