Hello. My Great-Aunt, Esther Miles is the daughter of Peter Berreth and Pauline Sauter. She is now 97 years old, living in Aberdeen, SD. She is still of sound mind and remembers many details of her childhood in Zeeland, ND and Artas, SD.

My name is Elizabeth (nee Maier) Kaiser and I am the granddaughter of Ida Berreth Maier, Esther Berreth Miles older sister. Esther lived with my Grandmother Ida for a few years in Stockton, CA before my Grandmother’s passing in 1977. I know that Great Aunt Esther passed in 2019 but I saw this post when researching the Berreth name and thought I would reach out and say hello. You must have been related via Great Uncle Al Miles? Esther always faithfully loved Al until the day she passed and I remember her stories. Good of you to post this. I hope you are well.
