Greetings. I believe I found your family in my book “Leaves of the Ulmer Tree of Sutton from Rohrbach. Some of the dates seem to match. Alfred B 7-20-1892 Married 7-21, 1918 to Martha Munsch B 1-28-1896 Scotland SD. My book states that Alfred’s parents were George Gottlieb Ulmer B 2-18-1858 Rohrbach Russia D 4-13-1930 Fullerton ND. George was married 10-7-1877 in Russia to Sophia Ridinger B 1-3-1858 in Rohrbach Russia D 5-15-1936 in Fullerton. So that is consistent.
I also have that George’s parents are Barbara Perlenfien B 12-16-1817 in Wurtenberg Germany. Married Jacob Ulmer in 1838. He died in 1864. In 1884 Barbara came to the Sutton NE. I do not know much at all about Jacob Frederick Ulmer. Barbara’s parents were Johann Jacob Perlenfein and Regina Barabara Wagenhalsin ( I only had Wagenhalsin. I am related to you because Johannes John Ulmer married to Margaretha Ridinger on 10-26-1876 in Rohrbach Russia would be my Great Great Grandparents. Their Daughter Katherine Ulmer Frank is my Great Grandmother who I knew. Johannes is George Gottleib’s brother. Perhaps Margaretha and Sophia were sisters? I grew up in South Dakota. Nice to meet you. It is all so fascinating.
